girls sixes league
The Girls Lacrosse Sixes League is dedicated to providing female athletes ages 7-14 with a competitive and enthusiastic environment to learn lacrosse, develop their skills, and try something new! Led by our rockstar team of female coaches, this program will provide players a great mix of fundamentals, technical skills, and game-based learning. With so many post-secondary education opportunities available in the girls' lacrosse world, our goal is to open doors for young female athletes to learn, fall in love with the game, and provide great cross-training benefits to multi-sport players looking to try something different.

Why Play Lacrosse
Lacrosse is widely considered the “Fastest Sport on Two Feet'' and offers players an excellent opportunity to develop foundational athletic skills that will directly translate to other sports like hockey, soccer, and basketball. With 500+ NCAA and 25+ Canadian University programs available, girls' lacrosse can also provide young women with a path to continue their development into post-secondary education and beyond.
Sixes Lacrosse in the OLYMPICS!
In 2023 the IOC approved Sixes Lacrosse as an official Olympic sport for the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics! This news is an incredible step for lacrosse on the global stage and will go a long way for the long term growth of the sport. While many countries play lacrosse worldwide, not many play lacrosse at the grassroots level that we are so lucky to have here in North America. The Sixes lacrosse format is a very approachable way to introduce the sport to new players worldwide, and with fewer rules to learn, the casual viewer will have a much easier time digesting the sport on TV.

Each session typically includes 40 minutes of skill development and 30 minutes of small-area games, depending on the week. During the skill development portion, players will rotate through various activities, alternating between "teaching" stations and "mini-game" stations. We believe that this balance between technical instruction and gameplay will help participants learn the fundamental skills of lacrosse and also foster a love for the sport. During the small-area games portion players will be split into teams and play an age-appropriate version of lacrosse in a 3v3 or 4v4 format to encourage all players to get involved and maximize touches.
