At TOP Soccer, we prioritize creating a positive and engaging experience for all young players. Our program is specifically designed for competitive players aged U8-U14 (2017 – 2011), with a focus on Long Term Player Development, quality coaching, and manageable schedules that don't dominate family life. By emphasizing the Four Corners of Development, we ensure that each player's technical, physical, social, and psychological needs are met and players are being challenged appropriately during their growth.

Our curriculum is carefully crafted to match each individual's age and stage of development, and our sessions are designed to teach fundamental skills through a variety of engaging and game-based activities. We believe play is an essential part of a child's development, and we strive to make learning the game of soccer a fun and enjoyable experience for all.

Season Overview
The outdoor season runs from mid-April until late October, consisting of three training sessions per week from mid-April through September, and two training sessions per week during October to allow for multi-sport participation. Players have the flexibility of optional training throughout July & August so they can enjoy their summer break and still keep their position on the team. Partial season registration (ie. spring only) is not available.

Games & Tournaments
U8-U12 teams compete in the T.O. Soccer League from mid-May to late September, and in Ontario Soccer tournaments.
U13+ teams compete in Ontario Soccer Association tournaments and compete against local Toronto Soccer Association teams.

Application Process
Due to the limited number of spots we have available on TOP Soccer teams, all interested players must fill out an application form to register their interest in joining the program. Once we have determined how many players are returning from the previous season’s team, interested players will be notified if/when there is room in their desired age group. Acceptance to the program is not on a ‘first come first serve’ basis, but is determined by an evaluation of the player’s previous experience and family philosophy. Priority will always be given to athletes who play more than one sport at TOP.
